Rise In Fuel Prices Sparks Protests In Various Parts Of The Nation
Increase in fuel prices leads to protests in several parts of the nation. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leads a cycle march.
Fuel prices in India are increasing day by day, thereby burning a hole in the common man’s pocket. Therefore, to protest against the increasing fuel prices, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leaders Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, and party workers rode bicycles in Patna. Congress workers also protested against the continuous hike in fuel prices. Since the last few weeks, the prices of fuel are substantially increasing and this has made people’s life difficult. Reports also state that this is the first time that diesel prices are seen to be higher than petrol.
While talking to the reporters, people said that they are already troubled due to the recession and now the hike in fuel prices has caused them further distress. No wonder, many of them took to the streets in various parts of the nation to protest the government’s move. .
