Actor Irrfan Khan is one of the many actors who left us for heavenly abode in 2020. He was a celebrated Bollywood artist who was born on January 7, 1967, in Rajasthan. He made his acting debut with the Television show, Bharat Ek Khoj, which aired in the Doordarshan era and was a major source of entertainment for most people in the country.

In this video posted, Irrfan Khan can be seen speaking about his struggles and how he made a place for himself in the industry. He said that he had been struggling from the very beginning, even before joining the television industry. After getting roles on television, he was worried about making it big in the film industry as it is not easy to get opportunities. In this video, Irrfan Khan also states that impressing people was not his strongest trait. He has always been a shy person who finds it difficult to please people with words.

Irrfan Khan was established in the Hindi film industry through roles in films like Lunchbox and Paan Singh Tomar. After these films, his calibre was recognised by the audiences and he also started getting offers from Hollywood. He has played important roles in international films like Life of Pi, Inferno, and Jurassic World, amongst others. Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 but he continued with his work until his last days. On 29th April 2020, the actor passed away at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai while he was undergoing treatment for colon infection.
