What better way to begin the story than an honest introduction? Hello comes first and since it is not so cool to say hello, our hero uses “hi peoples” to let us know how cool he is in an instant. This is the first time we are meeting Suraj and it is insanely funny, thanks to Diljit’s sense of humour that flows with every word he says. So, next time you introduce yourself to an audience, don’t forget to start with hi peoples.
Throw Milk All Over the Market
Well, we can’t complain about Suraj boasting about the success of his business, but the language he chooses to do it, lets him down. When he asked is asked about his dairy business, Suraj swiftly answers that “we throw milk all over the market”, wanting to say that they supply to the whole market. However, his father is there for the rescue who adds “after packing”. This father-son duo is a blessing to the audience.
Talk for Hours in English
As Suraj is on his way to meet a prospective bride, his father has an advice for him. He asks Suraj to talk in English to the girl and since the language is our hero’s strong point, he swiftly agrees. Adding effect to the agreement he says, “I talk ganta in English”. Suraj wanted to say he can speak for hours in English but this one line in itself becomes an oxymoron here.
Milk Something Nice
Pickup lines are tough but not for Suraj. Inviting a girl to the dairy, that too by offering good Kheer, seems smooth. Only if the girl accepted the offer! But she couldn’t understand what he meant and the he tries to make her understand in English by saying “I’ll milk you something nice.” Suraj sure is a sweetheart but his heart doesn’t comprehend the fact that his language proficiency is wrong at different laughs.
Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari also stars Annu Kapoor and Vijay Raaz and is streaming now only on Zee5!
