When Jazzy B spoke about facing criticism for his look
Jazzy B is known to be a trendsetter with his blingy and stylish look. However, he does have some naysayers who taunt or criticise him for his look and style. Jazzy happily takes all the criticism and he says that it is his life and his choice. He wants to decide what he wears and how he looks. He further said that even after 25 years, he still receives such comment like ‘Ki jaloos kadeya hoya ae?‘ and he says, “Malik kare jaloos chal da rahe“.
How Jaidev Kumar got his break
Gurpreet Ghuggi credits Jaidev Kumar for bringing about a revolution in Punjabi music. Jaidev is kind enough to disclose that he and Jazzy were struggling to make it big and his condition was worst than Jazzy’s. He further said that when they used to approach music labels, they were criticised for their company. Later, Jazzy and his team got a chance to go to Mumbai (then Bombay) for a recording and Jaidev also accompanied him. The master tape was ready but then the composer said that even though all eight songs were good, the mix needed an engine to pull these songs. And that is how Jaidev got a chance to have a song in the tape and Dil Legi Kudi Gujrat Di become a cult sensation.
When Sonu Kakkar was once called Baby Sonu
Sonu Kakkar is a well-known singer and Gurpreet Ghuggi addressed her as the ‘Charm of the show’. This girl from Rishikesh has made her own way. Kakkar shared that she started working when she was four years old. She used to sing in jagrans and she became famous as Baby Sonu. Kakkar said that when she participated as a five-girl band in a reality show, music director Sandeep Chowta recognised her. He told her that her voice should be used in a film. And thus, after some time, she got a call from Sandeep to sing a song for a movie and that’s how she got her break with the song Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo from the film Dum.
Struggle and perseverance are the rungs of the ladder of success and fame, as proven by our stars here. Share your favourite songs of Jazzy, Sonu, Jaidev Ji in the comment section below.
