Ranveer Singh’s ’83 To Hit The Theatres On THIS Historic Day?
Bollywood’s one of the most-awaited films, ’83, starring Ranveer Singh is grabbing the headlines as the makers are likely to release it soon. Scroll down to know when the film will hit the theatres.
As in an order issued in January, the Central Government said cinema halls and movie theatres across India will be allowed to operate with 100% capacity from February 1, as a part of the phased ease of restrictions of the Covid-19 lockdown. And, now it seems like that the makers of big-budget films are waiting for the right moment to release their films. Being one among the many others is Ranveer Singh starrer ’83. And, as per latest buzz around its release date, the upcoming film is likely to take the release on a glorious day, which will fall in June.
Yes! You read it right. The makers, reportedly, have decided to release the film on June 25 this year. For the unversed, June 25 is considered as a glorious day in the history of Indian cricket team as the team India won the 1983 World Cup under the captainship of Kapil Dev on the same day. However, other reports suggest that the makers are currently targeting the whole month and are yet to finalise the date.
Along with the Kabir Khan directorial, Reliance also has another big-budget film in its kitty, that is Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi. As Akshay Kumar’s film is scheduled to hit the theatres in April, the month is completely ruled out for ’83’s release. On the other hand, two big films are already slated to release in May, that is Salman Khan’s Radhe and John Abraham’s Satyamev Jayate 2.
Both the films are likely to release on or around May 14. Although as of now, no release for the last week of May has been announced, the makers have assumed that there is a possibility of the same. However, the makers have not made any official announcement yet.
The reports claimed that the producers of Sooryavanshi and ’83 will soon clear the air around the speculation as the announcement is expected in a week or so. Talking about the film, apart from Ranveer Singh, the film will also feature Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, and Ammy Virk. Actor Deepika Padukone will also play a special role in the film.
