In the previous episode of the Zee Bangla show Rani Rashmoni, a saint sitting on the banks of the Ganges asks Mathur and Gadadhar not to disturb him. When Gadadhar asks who he is, he says his name is Totapuri and he has a monastery in Punjab. He also says that he doesn’t believe in the concept of idol worship. Gadadhar takes him inside the temple premises. Meanwhile, an argument ensues between a Vaishnavite and a Shaivite saint over there. Gadadhar stops their fight. When Ramchandra blames Mathur for this chaos, Gadadhar sings a song in praise of the Lord.
In the current episode of Rani Rashmoni, hearing Gadadhar’s song, the saints reconcile with each other. Gadadhar restores friendly relations between them. Seeing this, sage Totapuri feels that Gadadhar’s path of devotion is not correct and he should follow the ‘Vedanta’ meditation. He asks Gadadhar to sacrifice all social ties and accept ‘Sanyasa’. Mathur tells Gadadhar that saints consuming weed within the temple premises and fooling people with fake amulets won’t be tolerated.
Later that night, Gadadhar tells the ‘Bhairavi’ about sage Totapuri. The sage arrives there and repeats his wish to Gadadhar to practice ‘Vedanta’ meditation. The ‘Bhairavi’ asks him not to distract Gadadhar from his path. Gadadhar feels he must make sage Totapuri understand the true value of his mother, Goddess Kali. He enters the goddess’s shrine and seeks permission from her to follow the sage’s wish. Goddess Kali appears in front of him and permits him to proceed in this path.
