Brahmastra team members have now pledged to donate their Organs. Here’s everything that you need to know

Brahmastra team members Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ayan Mukerji, and Karan Johar have now turned good Samaritans as they have pledged to donate their kidneys ahead of World Kidney Day on March 11. The Brahmastra stars reportedly attended an event organised by the Amar Gandhi Foundation where they were seen making the announcement public. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt made their respective pledges during their speech. On the other hand, Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji made the announcement virtually on their social media platform. During the event, the lead protagonist of Brahmastra aka Ranbir Kapoor stated, “I pledge & donate my organs, I hope that by me doing this it will make a difference to one person or two people’s lives, and it keeps going forward and it will make a difference, so please do consider pledging your organs.”

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt during her speech dwelled on the importance of making people aware of organ donation. Alia Bhatt added, “It is important to make people aware of the process behind it. I think it’s important to come and talk about the health issues and Amar Gandhi Foundation and Organ donation awareness drive. Make people aware of the prospects of their organ donation, alive or post-death.”

On the work front, the shooting of Brahmastra has already reached its conclusion. The first part of the trilogy is all set to hit the silver screen in the second half of the year. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, this action fantasy film is bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles. Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the production of the movie was delayed. However, after facing several delays, the first part of the trilogy is all set to entertain audiences.
