For the fans of Ram Charan it is the day to rejoice. His film, RC 15 starring Kiara Advani and directed by S Shankar was launched today in Hyderabad. Sharing the news with the fans, producer Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations shared the news on social media.

In July this year, the poster of the film was released. “Joining us on this super exciting journey is the talented and gorgeous @advani_kiara! Welcome on board,” read the tweet. RC15 is the second collaboration of Ram Charan with Kiara Advani after Vinaya Vidheya Ramathat was released in 2019.

The announcement of the film took place in February of this year. Since then, social media trends have been dominated by the news. Without a doubt, Ram Charan’s next project with director Shankar is one of the most eagerly anticipated in Tollywood.

On the professional front, Ram Charan has completed the filming of RRR. And he has also filmed for the action-drama Acharya that stars his father, superstar Chiranjeevi.

Ram Charan’s other releases

Charan is anticipating the release of SS Rajamouli’s RRR on October 13th in theatres. It also features a plethora of other A-listers from across the film industry, including Jr NTR and Bollywood celebrities Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn.

Well, the film was launched in the midst of controversy. The Tamil and Telugu film director Shankar is currently facing allegations of plagiarism with his upcoming film RC 15. According to various reports, Chinnasamy, a production executive who works with producer RB Choudary, has filed a complaint with the South Indian Film Writers Association (SIFWA), alleging that director Shankar’s next film with actor Ram Charan plagiarised his story.

Previously, Shankar has been embroiled in a slew of other controversies. And recently, he had a squabble with producer Aascar Ravichandran after Indian 2, about the Hindi adaptation of Anniyan.

Ram Charan and Shankar are working together for the first time in RC15. Shankar’s eighth Telugu film RC 15 is to have a simultaneous release in other Indian languages.
