Raj Kaushal Death: Raveena Tandon, Mouni Roy, Vidya Malvade Visit Mandira Bedi’s Residence To Offer Condolences

Soon after Raj Kaushal’spassing, several celebrities including Ronit Roy, rushed to their residence to offer their last respects. Read on. The news of Raj’s demise was shared on Twitter by filmmaker Onir. He had worked with the late director on film My Brother.

Actress Mandira Bedi’s husband and director Raj Kaushal passed away following a massive heart attack on Wednesday morning. He was 49 at the time of his death. Soon after his passing, several celebrities including Ronit Roy rushed to their residence to offer their last respects. He was cremated the same day at the Shivaji Park crematorium in Mumbai. He is survived by his wife Mandira and two kids.

In the evening, many celebrities visited Mandira’s residence to offer condolences. Some of them include actor Rohit Roy, Raveena Tandon, Mouni Roy, Vidya Malvade, and more. As per reports, Raveena Tandon returned to Mumbai with her daughter after hearing about the passing of her friend. The mother-daughter duo was snapped at the Mumbai airport on the day of his death.

While some reached their residence, some celebs took to social media to mourn Raj’s passing. Actor Ashish Chowdry, who was also present at his funeral, shared a picture with him on social media. In the caption, he wrote, “My big brother, my guiding light, my happy quotient, my pamper-me-lots person, is gone. My brother who supported me fiercely like my sister Monica who I also lost, is gone. But yet, he’s filled positivity and gratitude real hard in me. He’s taught me well. To survive any storm. And I’ll do the same today. For him.”

The news of Raj’s demise was shared on Twitter by filmmaker Onir. He had worked with the late director on film My Brother… Nikhil. He wrote, “Gone too soon. We lost Filmmaker and Producer @rajkaushal1 this morning. Very Sad. He was one of the producers of my first film #MyBrotherNikhil. One of those few who believed in our vision and supported us. Prayers for his soul.”
