Freepress Journal appreciated Avinash Das’ direction as the reviewer felt completely involved in to the story of Raat Baaki Hai. “Director Avinash Das manages to keep you glued to the screen,” the critic said. The critic compared the film’s treatment with Nawazuddin Siddiqui starter Raat Akeli Hai. Also, the review had a special mention of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai fame actor Saanand Verma whose minor yet impressive screen performance was loved by the critic.

IWM Buzz emphasized the great acting performances that breathe life into the whodunnit tale of Raat Baaki Hai.
