Late last month the makers of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s film Godfather released the motion poster of the film. The poster shows the megastar’s silhouette as his back is turned towards the camera. The actor is seen donning an overcoat and seems to be clutching what looks like a shotgun.

And as Megastar Chiranjeevi is prepping up to begin shooting the film, there are rumours ongoing around that popular Tamil actor R. If rumours are to be further believed, then R Madhavan might be reprising Vivek Oberoi’s role from the original Malyalam film. According to various reports, talks were being held with Madhavan, and if one was to go by the reports the actor has also given his nod to the project.

Madhavan’s other Telugu role was a negative role in the 2018 Telugu movie Savyasachi, that Naga Chaitanya in the lead role. And just as it was in the original movie, the Telugu version will also be featuring multiple stars in prominent roles.

On the work front for Madhavan, the actor is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film Rocketry that is directed by him. The film is also scheduled to be released simultaneously in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. For Chiranjeevi, besides Godfather, he also has Acharya in the pipeline.
