Qismat 2 Review: Ammy Virk And Sargun Mehta’s Emotional And Heartbreaking Love Story Applauded By The Audiences And Critic
MoviesReviewsQismat 2 is a romantic drama starring Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta. The movie has a heart-touching storyline that leaves you in tears and happiness and the audience is loving it
As the lockdown limitations are lifted, a slew of Punjabi films are hitting theatres. The release of the Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta film has sparked a lot of excitement, especially after the success of its predecessor, Qismat (2018). Tania and the singer Jaani star in the film, which was written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu.
The love tale of Shiv (Virk) and Bani (Mehta) is continued in the sequel of the romantic drama’s first half. Despite the fact that the sequel tells a completely different plot, elements from the first film appear in this one.

Shiv and Bani are college students, and the former is a badminton player who aspires to be the best in the sport, despite his father’s pleas for him to obtain a job and contribute to the family’s desperate financial circumstances. Bani explains to Shiv that rather than taking a low-paying job right now, he can study hard and make something of his life. She also instills in him the value of friendship. Shiv falls in love with her, she decides not to go against her family and gets married to Kaabil (Jaani). Shiv, on the other hand, is still pining for her. A few years later, the two are reunited due to an unforeseen turn of events.
Shiv’s two buddies, who give comic relief in the first half, are responsible for several lighthearted moments. However, the film is primarily intended to be a passionate and emotional drama. The plodding pace and meandering storyline, on the other hand, fail to interest us. Furthermore, Qismat 2 does not emotionally connect us, and even in the most painful scenes, one is left feeling a little distant.

Virk’s strong suit is humour, and has delivered a great performance. Women’s performances, on the other hand, are far superior. Mehta does a decent job portraying a woman trying to make sense of her feelings and figure out how she feels. Tania brings us into her character as a lively, happy student. It’s a shame she doesn’t have a lot of responsibilities. The movie has been lauded by critics and loved by audiences on a massive scale.
