In Pune, a car mechanic built a vintage car for his daughter along with his father. They made all the parts by themselves and surprised her. Take a look at the red classy vintage car which can hold up to 150 kgs weight.

Javed Sheikh, car mechanic in Pune built a vintage car

Parents often go to extreme levels to fulfil the dreams of their children. One such incident took place recently in Pune. Tanzila, Sheikh’s daughter had seen a red vintage car in a mall in Mumbai last year when they had visited the city. She wanted her parents to purchase the car but they hesitated as it was made in China and they did not want to buy a Chinese product. After they returned back to Pimpri Chinchwad, she kept asking her grandfather for the car and then forgot about it.

Javed Sheikh owns a mechanic shop in Pune and repairs vehicles. Javed mentioned that he often built such parts for others and thought that he could create something for his daughter as well. He along with his father decided to build an indigenous car for her. They made every part from scratch from its doors to its wheel. Not a single part of the car has been installed from China or any other country. It took them almost 4 months to complete the red classy vintage car. When they surprised her, she was extremely happy to see the car.

The car can be driven by kids as well as by elders as it holds up to 150 kgs. It looks like a toy car but is very sturdy like a real car. Javed Sheikh said that Tanzila calls over her friends and gives them a ride in their area. However, she does not use it that often. His father and he uses it often to bring groceries as it holds enough weight. The car has an engine of an old scooter for his to drive. Hasan Sheikh, his father said,” Indian products are often stronger than those imported from other countries. So we thought instead of buying something new, we could create a strong car for my granddaughter.”

Tanzila and her mother expressed their excitement and said that they were surprised and happy at the same time. The beautiful look of the car and its capacity has attracted many people around them. Javed has even started getting orders for bigger cars.
