On many occasions was the actor seen talking about the difficulties that she faced in her career. At a public event, the actor revealed that the way to Bollywood wasn’t a cakewalk for her.

Priyanka Chopra’s success story is known to everyone. From winning beauty pageants to landing roles opposite some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, the actress has left her mark. The star even launched her own production house to motivate and nurture new talent and proved the same with the speech she delivered at the launch event of the same. Priyanka spoke about how despite being a Miss World, the way to Bollywood was filled with struggle.

The actress came clean and revealed that she had to fight a lot to find her spot in Bollywood. She said that millions dream of making it big in Bollywood, but getting in is the toughest part. She went on to say that, even after being crowned Miss World, she was finding it tough and that explained the situation. She insinuated that many who carries enormous talent are ignored by Bollywood as they are not welcoming for strugglers.

Priyanka Chopra rose to recognition when she was crowned Miss World in 2000. She went on to make her Bollywood debut in 2003, with the Sunny Deol starrer film, The Hero: Love Story Of A Spy. After a long and successful spell in Bollywood, she broke through to Hollywood with the English series Quantico followed by Dwayne Johnson starrer film, Baywatch.
