In the latest episode of Pookalam Varavayi, Saptathi consoles Samyuktha. Saptathi tells Samyuktha that Achamma Kunjamma’s arrival is a blessing. Samyuktha shares her worries with Saptathi, who asks her to pray. Samyuktha tries to concentrate on her prayer. Abhimanyu’s face flashes before her eyes. Meanwhile, Saudamini cries before Achamma Kunjamma or Kalyani. She apologises to Kalyani. Kalyani doesn’t realise that Saudamini is putting up an act. She assures Saudamini that Samyuktha will deliver Abhimanyu’s baby. Later, Saudamini poisons the sacred ghee. Parvathy meets Kalyani and asks her about Samyuktha’s future in the house. Kalyani gives her a vague reply and leaves. Parvathy gets worried.
Samyuktha gets hungry at night and decides to find something to eat. Abhimanyu spots her in the kitchen. Abhimanyu stops Samyuktha and tells her that if she ruins the ‘Vrutham’, it will affect that unborn child. Samyuktha decides to follow his instructions. Abhimanyu feels happy. The next day, Kalyani makes Samyuktha wear a black saree. Later, she begins the rituals. Abhimanyu and Samyuktha exchange a gaze. Abhimanyu almost feeds the sacred ghee to Samyuktha when Saptathi arrives there and throws the bottle of ghee away. Saptathi overhears Sharmila and Saudamini’s conversation about the ghee being spiked. Saudamini is stunned by Saptathi’s act. Kalyani slaps Saptathi. Saptathi tells everyone that the ghee is spiked, but Kalyani tells Saptathi that there will be repercussions for her actions. Abhimanyu consoles Saptathi.
