Police Take Custody Of CCTV Footage From Sushant Singh Rajput’s Building In Mumbai
Mumbai Police is investigating links to professional rivalry that could connect to the actor’s suicide.
In a fresh development in the investigation into the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the Mumbai Police have taken custody of CCTV footage from the building in Bandra where the actor used to stay. Abhishek Trimukhe, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Zone IX, Mumbai Police, revealed this to the press today, while also mentioning that there were no CCTVs inside the actor’s house. It was only yesterday that the police had questioned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the case. The actor was apparently supposed to play the lead in four of the director’s films, but none of the possibilities had come to fruition. Bhansali is believed to have told the police that this was due to Sushant’s commitment to other production houses and his inability to free his dates for the films.
More than 25 people, including Bollywood biggies like Rhea Chakraborty, Mahesh Shetty, Mukesh Chhabra, Sanjana Singh, Shanoo Sharma and others have been questioned regarding the case. Although the police have filed the case to be a suicide, they are still investigating links to professional rivalry in the film industry.
