According to the latest news reports, Indian PM Narendra Modi will take part in the India-EU Summit today via video conferencing. This is the 15th India-EU Summit and it is said that a lot of critical points will be discussed. EU’s Foreign Policy Chief, Josep Borrell, will be attending the Summit. The India-EU meet is likely to see some political talks on trade and investments. Other points that will be discussed include battling with the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and uplifting the economy amid these testing times. Discussion on post-pandemic economic recovery shall also take place.

Sources also state that India and the EU will promote multilateral engagement. Considering the India-China face off at the Galwan valley, the EU has been already briefed about the matter. Another crucial point that may be discussed is the Afghan Peace Mission.
