The Prime Minister is expected to launch several projects in Gujarat, including his dream seaplane line from Ahmedabad to Kevadia
Prime Minister Narendra Modi begins his two-day Gujarat tour today (October 30), where he is scheduled to inaugurate several projects including his dream seaplane project. Due to the death of former Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel yesterday, minor changes were made in the PM’s itinerary. He will now visit the late CM’s family in Gandhinagar at around 10.30 am after which he will attend to other programmes.
The leader will be inaugurating at least 17 projects in the Kevadia district, including the Sardar Patel Zoological Park. Modi will launch a boat service that will operate from the statue to the Shreshth Bharat Bhavan after which he will cut the ribbon at Ekta Mall, a one stop destination for handicrafts from around the country.
On the morning of 31 October, the PM will visit the Statue of Unity to commemorate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his birth anniversary. An Ekta Diwas Parade organized by the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and the Gujarat police will be showcased to the PM as a part of the celebrations. The seaplane service connecting Kevadia and Ahmedabad will be flagged off by Modi late afternoon, post which he will return to Delhi.
