Television personality and actress Shilpa Shinde who will be next seen in ZEE5’s upcoming period drama Paurashpur, recently took to Instagram to express her gratitude towards the show’s art director Nitin Chandrakant Desai. In the short video shared by Shilpa, she said that she feels like a true rani on the sets of Paurashpur. “While standing at the set of Paurashpur, I would truly feel like a maharani. Even if I would have been cast to play the role of a daasi, I would have still felt like a queen because of the beautiful set” she said.

She also mentioned how ‘others did everything else’ (for Puarashpur) but she did the web series only for her fans. She further credited the ‘captain of the ship’ Sachindra Vats for directing this beautiful period drama. Watch the clip of Shilpa Shinde talking about Paurashpur below:

While sharing a small anecdote of her shooting experience in the video, she mentioned how Sachindra Vats would ask her to ‘feel’ while acting. She said “Sachindra ji would ask me not to act a lot because I’m a daily soap artist and I would give about 50 different expressions. He would say this isn’t a comedy series, please feel from within Shilpa”
