Recently, the actress has opened up about her plans for being a producer in the industry. As we can clearly acknowledge that the male actors are now turning to producers. The leading ladies of Bollywood too are moving in the same direction. Well, Hasee Toh Phasee actress and Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s cousin Parineeti Chopra revealed that she too wants to back the producing projects, she wants to watch as an audience.
She recently revealed that she does not want to produce, and she wants to do that because she feels that many times there is a struggle for actresses to get the kind of budgets, stories, or casts that they sometimes need for their project. She added that of course, that is understandable because of the kind of collections that these sorts of projects demand, that they have to be made at a certain budget. She mentioned that she wants to create a name for herself as someone who can sell a film in her own name. Pari added that the process has already started with films like Saina, and another digital platform film that is the extension that she wants to take into the production. She agreed that this year, she could definitely be thinking about it.
The actress also mentioned that she feels happy after watching a female presence in the industry. Be it a production department, musicians, lyricists, singers, or even cinematographers, everywhere she can watch female members step into it and that is a good part, according to her. She called it a changing world, as once there was a time the film industry used to be male-dominated.
In terms of the work front, Pari will be next seen in Animals alongside Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.
