Paresh Rawal Steps In To Shoot Rishi Kapoor’s Portion In The Latter’s Last Film, Sharmaji Namkeen

Megastar Rishi Kapoor was one of the finest actors in Bollywood who unfortunately succumbed to cancer last year. The actor was working on an upcoming film, Sharmaji Namkeen and most parts of the film were completed by the team, until the pandemic struck the nation. Certain portions of the late actor’s parts remaining pending. Now, according to the latest reports, the team has decided to finish off the shooting of Sharmaji Namkeen with Paresh Rawal taking over from where Mr Kapoor left. This film has already been creating a lot of buzz amongst Rishi Kapoor fans as this will be his last performance in the Hindi film industry.

The year 2020 has been a difficult year for the film industry with the loss of various renowned celebrities like Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan, amongst others. According to the video attached above, actor Rishi Kapoor had been working on an upcoming film before the implementation of COVID-related lockdown, all over the country. His upcoming venture, Sharmaji Namkeen was around 90% completed but certain crucial parts are yet to be shot, in order to release the film in the theatres.

According to the video, actor Paresh Rawal has been roped in to finish the shooting schedule of this film in the next few days. Initially, debutant director Hitesh Bhatia had been planning to finish off the film with the help of VFX effects but in the latest development, he has taken the decision to have Paresh Rawal in certain parts. The film will be one of a kind as such an experiment has never been pulled off in the past.

The film Sharmaji Namkeen had been scheduled to release in 2020 but the dates had to be pushed forward due to the lockdown and Rishi Kapoor’s sad demise. The plot of this film revolves around the life of a very old man who is high on spirits and wishes to achieve a lot in his life at such a senior age. The film is expected to do well amongst the audience due to the promising content.
