Pakistan Minister Openly Attributes Pulwama Attack Success To Imran Khan
Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan forced their way into India and successfully killed 40 CRPF Indian soldiers in the 14 February Pulwama attacks in Kashmir, terming it as a great achievement for PM Imran Khan
A cabinet minister of the Pakistan government has openly acknowledged the country’s hand in the February 14, 2019 Pulwama attacks that killed 40 Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel. Calling the massacre a big success for Prime Minister Imran Khan’s regime, Fawad Hussain Chaudhry told the National Assembly yesterday that Pakistan had entered the Indian territory and carried out the well-planned murderous task.
While India has always accused Pakistan for the deadly act of terrorism in Pulwama, Imran Khan has consistently refuted the accusation. The Pakistani PM had even gone on record to challenge India to get him any intelligence or investigative evidence to prove his nation’s role in the matter. Now with his own administration’s politician declaring their hand in the killings, Khan’s reaction is awaited.
Many Indian leaders including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had raised suspicions on the Narendra Modi government for the timing of the Pulwama incident, even alleging that they had tied up with the neighbouring country to orchestrate the attacks.
