We’re back with some exciting recipes for all non-vegetarian lovers and even those who cannot cook! Here are two easy recipes for a healthy meal that you can try out during your time at home.

Corn Pulao 

Chop onions and wash the mushrooms that you wish to use. Take the baby corn and cut the same. Also, remember to wash and soak rice in water for 30 mins. For the spice powder, add fennel, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon in a grinder and make it a powder. For the pulao, heat a pan and add oil and ghee. Then add bay leaf and onions and saute the same. Once the onions turn into a translucent colour, add ginger garlic paste, mushrooms, baby corn, green chilli and saute them. Add, mint leaves, turmeric, black pepper, red chilli powder and the ground spices powder so that they mix well.
Drain water completely from the rice and add it to the pan. Add the needed water and close the pan with lid, Let it cook over low flame for 12 to 15 minutes. Your dish is ready!

Watermelon Salad

Wash the watermelon and cut it into two halves lengthwise. Now cut one of the halves into quarters and then into small pieces. Make sure to remove all the seeds once you have cut the fruit. Now take some finely chopped onion and add it to the mix. Take some fresh mint leaves, wash them thoroughly and finely chop them. Once you have done that, roast the raw peanuts on medium flame and remove the skin of the peanuts once they have cool down. Next, take the watermelon cubes in a bowl and add the chopped onions and mint leaves. Roast some cumin powder along with salt and freshly squeezed lemon juice and add ground pepper. Mix them all well and serve it cold.
