North Korea’s Supreme Leader Kim-Jong-Un Gets Emotional And Apologizes To The People
Kim acknowledged the fact that he did not live up to the trust and confidence that citizens of North Korea placed in him.
While giving a speech at the 75th birth anniversary of his ruling party, North Korean Supreme leader Kim-Jong-Un got emotional and apologised for his failure to stand by his people during the pandemic. According to the news reports, Kim acknowledged the fact that he did not live up to the trust and confidence that citizens of North Korea placed in him, and for that, he was very sorry. Kim got emotional as he removed his glasses and wiped away tears while addressing the crowd. Further, the Supreme leader also expressed his plans to improve relations with South Korea.
Meanwhile, South Korea’s Foreign Ministry urged North Korea to return to talks that are aimed at achieving denuclearization, law and order and peace in the Korean peninsula. With both the nations striving to carry out rounds of discussion their relations may improve in the coming future.
