The first season of Aashram followed the story of Baba Nirala, essayed by Bobby Deol and his followers who have blind faith in him and are ready to do anything for him. As the story progresses, it is revealed the Baba is a conman who makes sure that his devotees leave behind all kinds of ‘moh-Maya’ and stay attached to the Aashram for life.
