NASA recently issued a warning that a deadly asteroid has high chances of hitting the earth’s surface on March 21, 2021. As per various reports doing the rounds, this asteroid is called Apophis and has been named after the Greek God of chaos and destruction. Scientists have warned that if this asteroid continues in its current direction and at the steady speed then it might collide with the earth and cause major destruction on land. It has been approaching at the speed of 1,23,000/hr, which is too much for any foreign object of its diameter. In the past, various small asteroids have hit the earth’s surface but the size has never been concerning as they only had a small impact on the planet.

Here is a look at the ZEE5 video with details related to the asteroid which has been approaching the earth at a high speed:

NASA had recently announced that an asteroid is all set to hit the earth surface and it might have a huge impact on humankind altogether. As per the video attached above, the flying object is so deadly that it could wipe off human existence from the earth, on impact. It also has high chances of clearing away all living beings on the planet. As per various reports, the earth will experience various volcanic eruptions and subsequent heat outburst, which will finish life on the planet. There are also chances of large scale tsunamis which will result in flooding of various regions on the planet. Even if the asteroid simply touches the planet, then the planet will experience a major earthquake in multiple regions.

According to the video attached above, the asteroid has been approaching the earth at a speed of 1,23,000/hr and the scientists have named it FO 32, officially. NASA has also categorized this asteroid in the Apollo asteroid group as it is the biggest asteroid spotted in the solar system. In appearance, it is close to 370m wide and weighs around 27 Arab kg. If the asteroid hits the planet at this speed on March 21, then it will leave a 518-meter-deep hole on impact. Its impact will also be 65 times more than the 20,000 TNT which was witnessed in Hiroshima on August 6, 1947.
