Our desire for the ‘perfect’ love life skyrocketed on 06th October 2017 — the day when Tollywood film industry’s two most eligible bachelors and superstars, Naga Chaitanya Akkineni and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, tied the knot. Many hearts broke that day but many found a new couple to look up to. Every time you see them on-screen or in pictures, there’s one thing you will say for sure — magical! Do you miss watching them on the big screen? Are you unable to get over their latest release Majili? We’ve got you covered!

Over the years, the couple has given many hit films and most of them are still treasured by audiences and fans. But we all know nothing can ever beat the romantic film of 2010, Ye Maya Chesave.

This is where it all began – Samantha’s career and their beautiful love story! The film revolves around Kartik, a mechanical engineer by education and a filmmaker by aspiration, and a conservative Syrian Catholic Jesse. Kartik rents the space below Jesse’s apartment. Jesse lives with her parents and younger brother (played by Sudheer Babu). Kartik falls in love with her at first sight (so did you!). The rest of the film is how he manages to win over the girl he loves, seek blessings from both the families and unite for a happily ever after.

This film surely brought smiles and tears on our faces and almost a decade later, it still has the same magic. With music composed by the maestro A.R. Rahman and cinematography by Manoj Paramhansa, Ye Maaya Chesave is melodious and harmonious.

Next up, the unforgettable Manam. The Akkineni family has earned a reputation in the show business and the perfect tribute to it is director and writer Vikram Kumar’s brain baby Manam. The film has men from three generations of the Akkineni family and is a family drama that everyone can enjoy. Of course, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha play an important role and it’s sad if you haven’t seen it yet.
