Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is not just famous for his acting skills but also for various controversies that have emerged in the past few years. In one of the incidents, his ex-wife had accused the actor of being a possessive and insecure man who would always doubt her loyalty towards him. She had also revealed that he had assigned a female spy to follow her around and report to him about her whereabouts. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a celebrated Bollywood actor who has worked in a variety of films that span across different genres. He has been in the news several times in the past for multiple controversies regarding misbehaviour and physical attack. In one of the incidents, Nawazuddin Siddiqui got into an argument with veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, over a statement regarding early Bollywood romantic movies. The actor had said that back in the days, romantic films were all about circling around a tree and this comment did not go down well with Rishi Kapoor. He was quick to express his disapproval and Nawazuddin Siddiqui also ended up apologising to the late actor.

In his book, An Ordinary Life, Nawazuddin Siddiqui had mentioned various names which dragged him into trouble. He spoke about his affair with TV actor Sunita Rajwar, which ended up in him getting legal notice. The actor also asked Nawazuddin for a compensation of Rs 2 crores alongside an official apology. The same book also spoke about a hook up he had with a waitress in New York. In another incident, the actor was accused of hitting his neighbour over a parking-related argument. Nawazuddin Siddiqui also reportedly hit his sister-in-law over dowry but the actor ridiculed these charges when confronted.
