MumBhai teaser released: Angad Bedi steals the limelight as fierce cop

The teaser of ZEE5 Original action crime drama MumBhai released today, October 16. Helmed by Apoorva Lakhia, MumBhai is a story set in the 1980s when the city of Mumbai was ruled by the underworld. The narrative focuses on a how a cop named Bhasker rises to power with an intent to bring down the underworld, however, in turn of events joins hands with Don Rama.

The close to 1-minute video starts with a voice-over that describes how the city of Mumbai looked like in the year 1980. It describes how crime, extortion, drugs, and the underworld ruled the city. With visuals of gang wars, shooting, Bollywood scams and other illegal activities, the teaser describes the dark side of Mumbai in 1980.  Later in the teaser, a cop is spotted who decides to bring a change. He is seen taking down big gangsters as he plays by his own rules. The MumBhai teaser ends on an intriguing note where the cop is heard saying that always do something in life that makes people remember your name with your work.

In the teaser, Angad Bedi is seen stealing the limelight with his strong role as cop Bhasker Shetty. No other key characters are introduced in the teaser of Mum Bhai. The intriguing teaser is a perfect mix of action, drama, suspense and mystery. Mum Bhai also stars Sandeepa Dhar, Sikandar Shetty, Madhurima Roy and Sammer Dharmadhikari.  The action-packed crime drama series would be premiering on Zee5 on November 6, 2020. Mum Bhai is created by Apoorva Lakhia who is known for movies such as Shootout at Lokhandwala and Once Upon a Time in Mumbai.
