Mumbai Rains: Hockey Player Yuvraj Walmiki’s House Waterlogged Due To Heavy Showers

Walmiki even pleaded for help and asked government authorities to provide necessary aid.

The heavy rainfall and gushing winds have caused havoc since the past couple of days in Mumbai. Many have reported huge damages to property in several parts of the city. According to reports, the heavy rains led to rainwater entering Hockey player Yuvraj Walmiki’s house. Walmiki was seen struggling to get the water out of his house and pleading for help. He even asked government authorities to provide the necessary aid.

Many other Mumbaikars experienced similar losses with severe waterlogging throughout the city. Moreover, there have been many cases of trees and electricity poles falling, which has led to power cuts in many areas. Moreover, transportation services in Mumbai too have been badly disturbed, like very year. The IMD (Indian Meteorological Department) has issued a red alert in the city and has asked citizens to stay indoors until the situation is normal.
