Mumbai Indians Beat Kolkata Knight Riders, Quinton De Kock Replaces Chris Lynn

On Tuesday, Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians faced each other for a match of the ongoing season in the Indian Premier League. For this match, in the team of Mumbai Indians, Quinton De Kock replaced Chris Lynn in the batting 11.

In the match of KKR and Mumbai Indians, the replacement of Chris Lynn with Quinton De Kock was the only change made to the batting 11 of the team. Mumbai Indians in the match scored 152 runs in 20 overs and defeated Knight Riders who scored only 142 runs in 20 overs. De Kock opened the innings with Rohit Sharma. The replacement did not work in favour of the Mumbai Indians as Quinton De Kock could score only 2 runs for the team. In 2019, he had scored quite a lot for Mumbai Indians but after that, his form has not been as promising as before.
Mumbai Indians have been the champion of the Indian Premier League 5 times and they are heading towards a hattrick this year. It has been a tradition for Mumbai Indians to lose their first match and them emerge as the champion of the series. This year too, Mumbai Indians lost the first match against Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore. Next, Mumbai will face Sunrisers Hyderabad on 17th April while Kolkata will fight it out with Royal Challengers Bangalore on 18th April.
