Movie Goers Can Rejoice As Many States Reopen Theatres From Today
Frequent sanitisation, AC temperature above 23 degrees and 50% capacity are some of the rules to be followed by the theatres and multiplexes management
The implementation of Unlock 5.0 is underway from today as many states have initiated the reopening of their schools, cinema halls, multiplex theatres and swimming pools.
For movie theatres, a string of COVID19 guidelines have been issue to ensure a safe environment for everybody. The halls will operate at 50% audience capacity with only alternate seats occupied by the guests. Face-masks are compulsory while entering the premises and proper ventilation will be taken care of by the theatre authorities. The air conditioning will have to be above 23 degree Celsius at all times.
All those wishing to watch the big screen will have to download the Arogya Setu App to be fully apprised with all the Coronavirus rules. The tickets will be available online and the management will have to sanitise entry, exit and lobby areas frequently. The seats in the halls will have to be cleaned after every show.
While Delhi prepares to open its doors to all the film buffs from today onwards, Gurugram has devised a paperless system to issue movie tickets. Other states including Gujarat and West Bengal have also approved the opening of cinemas now.
The Mumbai Metro will start its passenger service from 19 October, while Bhopal will allow limited visitors to auditoriums, swimming pools and entertainment parks. Jammu will start its bars and pubs after seven months of lockdown.
