1) Poorna from Jaago
Jaago starring Nayanthara, Sivakarthikeyan, Fahaadh Faasil, and Prakash Raj, also stars Saranya Ponvannan as Poorna. When almost everyone had given upon Gyanu’s idea and his ways, Poorna gave him the confidence to execute his plan all by himself. She stood with him no matter what he wanted to do and made sure that he was never short on self-confidence.
2) Mahalakshmi from Aa Aaa
Aa Aaa stars Nithiin, Samantha and Anupama Parameswaran, in roles like you’ve never seen them before. The movie also stars Nadhiya as Mahalakshmi who is a strict and hard to please mother. She always tries to make sure that Anusuya is the best at everything, and we have all had a parent or seen a parent like this.
3) Dev’s mother from Ninnila Ninnila
Ninnila Ninnila stars Ashok Selvan, Ritu Varma, and Nithya Menen. Dev’s mother played by Sandhya Janak, is the sweet supportive mother, who is always supportive of her son’s choices no matter what. She encourages her son to do what he likes while also giving the same affection to his friend Maya.

4) Revathi from Ala Modalaindi
Ala Modalaindi stars Nithya Menen and Nani, who loves his mother more than anything. All of us shed tears when Revathi, played by Rohini, died in the movie. She was the kind who understood her son without him having to say anything, which got her closer to the viewers too!
5) Sarah from Jersey
Jersey stars Nani and Shraddha Srinath as Sarah who takes up all the responsibilities, be it financial or domestic, while also giving her son everything she could. She respected Arjun’s decision to get back in the ground so that Nani would never stop looking up to him. She represented the struggles that all mothers have faced at some point.
