Krishnakoli‘s Shyama, played by Tiyasha Roy, has been a very doting and supportive mother to Krishna. Shyama is extremely protective of Krishna and has always stood by her in all situations. Shyama even took up a disguise in order to save Krishna from the clutches of Radharani. Even when Krishna was poisoned and her throat was damaged, Shyama took it upon herself to nurse Krishna back to health. She has also been a constant supporter of Krishna’s music career.
Moni, essayed by Ananya Sengupta, in Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay might be Radhika’s adoptive mother but she has always treated her as her own child. Moni is probably the most important person in Radhika’s life and has supported her professional aspirations as well as her personal dreams. Like any mother, she too showered Radhika with unconditional love and affection and helped her in her journey to become a successful designer. Moni has also been a huge cheerleader of Radhika and Karna’s relationship.
Mithai’s mother Parbati, played by Boni Mukherjee, is another mother who has been a constant support for her daughter and has encouraged her to live her life on her own terms. When Mithai was forced to get married to a goon by her aunt, Parbati helped Mithai to escape from the marriage and took her to the Modak family in search of shelter. Parbati has also been very supportive of Mithai’s dream to have a sweet shop and stood up for her when her aunt wanted to stop her from selling sweets.
Rani Rashmoni, portrayed by Ditipriya Roy, has been an inspiring woman for many and has never failed to protect her children from evil. She has fought like a tigress whenever anyone has tried to hurt any of her family members. Not only for her daughters, Padma and Jagadamba, but she has stood by Mathur in the hard times and has saved him from many difficult situations. From preventing his arrest by British officers to supporting his liberal ideas and implementing them in life, Rani Maa has always treated Mathur like her own son.
Paromita aka Pori, played by Sriparna Roy, from Kori Khela is an excellent mother, not only to Kuttush but also to Srija and Gunja. She has accepted the girls as her own and wants to care for them like their own mother. When it comes to Srija, she has been extremely insulting and disrespectful towards Pori. But Pori has stood by her even after that. She has been the one who indirectly takes care of the likings and necessities of Srija and has shown us that a mother’s love is always unconditional.
