Monsoon Session: Members Of Parliament Pay Their Tributes To Leaders Who Recently Lost Their Lives
PM Narendra Modi said that it is time for everyone present to carry out their duties and responsibilities while battling with the novel Coronavirus.
The 18-day Monsoon Session of Parliament began today, September 14, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulating MPs on choosing duty over Coronavirus. As soon as the House assembled, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla paid tribute to former members who passed away recently. He also highlighted their contributions and noble works for the nation. The session began after proper temperature checking and sanitisation of the members. According to the reports, COVID-19 negative reports were checked before letting the members enter the parliament hall. Several other safety measures like wearing masks, sanitisation, and social distancing were followed.
PM Narendra Modi, while addressing the session, said that it is time for everyone present to carry out their duties and responsibilities while battling with the novel Coronavirus. He even appreciated the efforts put by the members in order to attend the session.
