When Madhuri gets assaulted by a local goon, her friends and family ask her to draft a formal complaint in the police station and forget about it. Madhuri, who suffered humiliation in the bus, decides to find justice by herself when she figures out that the police officers are on the goon’s side, she takes matters into her own hands and fights for justice. Like Madhuri, we all should learn to fight for ourselves. It makes us all realise our inner strength that we never knew existed.

#2 Never give up

Madhuri is let down by her relatives and the local cops as she is a harmless saleswoman. When she drafts a complaint against the local goon who is backed by influential members of the society, Madhuri realises that she is not going to win. Even with constant threats, she never gives up. Madhuri tells her mother that even if she is fighting a losing battle, such crimes against women shouldn’t be repeated.

#3 Do what it takes

We all must have been advised by others to do what we can. Madhuri’s story from Prathi Poovankozhi tells us to do what it takes! It is never too late to win what you deserve if you are willing to work for it. In Prathi Poovankozhi, Madhuri doesn’t halt even when she is asked by the police to stop her pursuit for Antappan, the goon who assaulted her on the bus. Madhuri’s story tells us how empowerment comes from realising your worth even when others are ready to drag you down.

#4 Always be ready to help

Madhuri reminds the audience in several instances that her fight is not just for her. Along with the other characters in the movies, the audience also realises that society has a cruel way of normalising crimes against women. Madhuri helps the schoolgirl on the bus as she knows that the system is not going to help her case. Even when she was let down earlier, she decides to stand by the right thing and help the ones in need.

#5 Be inspiring

Madhuri is left dissatisfied when she finds Antappan, the goon who attacked her, to be paralysed waist down. On her way back exhausted, she finds an elderly man groping a schoolgirl on a bus. Madhuri gets angry by the same and throws him off the bus after thrashing him. She even asks the schoolgirl to react instead of suffering from such cruel men. Madhuri leads as an inspiration, even when she is not able to find justice for herself.
