Pandemic has been tough on everyone. Even for our beloved celebrities who seem to live in our fantasies of a perfect lifestyle. Well, it is indeed true that they have an advantage when it comes to finances, but in terms of human emotions, they are the same as us. The erstwhile pop star Miley Cyrus feels the same.

In a recent performance at the Bottle Rock Napa Festival, Miley Cyrus opened up about a lot of development on her personal front, especially dealing with loss and dependency on relations. At the event, she was performing Janis Joplin’s “Maybe”, a song she felt deeply about. For her, the song represents freedom and acceptance of the things that she has experienced.

Miley Cyrus mentioned that presently she is at a stage in life when she is finally beginning to find stability. The loss of her Malibu home in the 2018 fire is finally fading. And all this needs patience, patience to rebuild your life even when you have to start from nothing.

The decisions and choices

It also involves being choosy with the people around you, keeping people who love you and make you strong. She suggests leaving people out of your life who get you down even if it is your romantic partner. Personally, Miley Cyrus believed in a strange theory that she wouldn’t be able to live without a partner. It was to the extent that she believed being in a romantic relationship was her life’s purpose. But in COVID it was taken away and she felt so lost. Music, however, had come to her rescue and gave her a new purpose and strength.

Miley Cyrus has been an inspiration for a generation of teenagers when she acted as the teenage singer ‘Hannah Montana’ in a super successful Disney series, where she played the role of a common high school student who is also a famous pop star. And even now, Miley Cyrus seems to be inspiring people by opening up about her struggles
