The trailer starts with Karisma’s voiceover wherein she describes the journey of a mother. She says, “Motherhood is a journey full of life, peace and trust”. In the morning, a mother’s journey starts from waking up to making breakfast to handling her kids, husband and household chores. Actress Karisma will be essaying the role of Meira who was Miss Kanpur before getting married. She has the responsibility of her 3 kids and pushes her kids to audition for commercials. Meira wants her kids to be actors and wants paparazzi to go crazy. Actress Sandhya will play the role of Anuja Joshi who is a PTA Chairwoman, while actress Tillotama is playing the role of Preity a ‘momzilla’ to her two naughty boys. Actress Shruti Seth will play the role of Diksha, a nature lover who wants her kids to be close to nature. Bollywood actress Shilpa Shukla will play the role of Namrata, who loves to strike a perfect balance between motherhood and professionalism. Actor Dino Morea will essay the role of Aakash who is a homestay dad and takes care of his two kids. This one line perfectly sums up the difficulties a mom has to face while she raises her kids – ‘Everyday is a madness in a mom’s life and she tries to do everything right in that madness.’
In the second half of the trailer, the makers talk about the sensitive topic which every parent need to address – domestic abuse and child molestation. Meira is seen telling Preity that her boys are bullying her daughter, Niki. While in another scene, Sanjay Suri tells his on-screen wife Meira that police has caught their son as he was running away. Meira is stuck between the right things for her kids while the kids have something else in their mind. Meira is seen doubting her daughter and the latter yells at her for not trusting her parenting skills. Well someone has rightly said that ‘God could not be everywhere, so he made mother’. But no one talks about the real struggle a mother has to face in her life. In the process of doing everything right, a mother is the one who is stuck between her husband and her kids. Right from facing domestic violence in marriage to not raising their voice against injustice, a woman bears everything for the well being of her child.
In another scene, Aakash talks about his daughter being molested in her school. Meira advises Aakash to not speak in public as his daughter’s image might get ruined. Aakash loses his calm at her small-town mentality and fights for his daughter. Meira tells her friends that it takes a village to raise a child.
Will Akash be able to get justice for his daughter? Stay tuned for more updates on the ZEE5 Original content.
