Megan Fox & Machine Gun Kelly’s engagement rumors might be factual
If industry insiders are to be taken into account, Megan Fox & Machine Gun Kelly’s engagement rumors might be factual
A source told Us Weekly that Fox was wearing a “ring on that special finger” while watching Kelly rehearse for his debut performance at the 2021 MTV VMAs. The source also hinted at a possible “surprise announcement” during the rapper’s performance at the award presentation, which will take place on Sunday, September 12, and during which he will debut his new single, “Papercuts,” alongside drummer Travis Barker.
Kelly, 31, and Fox, 35, have been dating for over a year. A source close to Fox told E! News in April that when her divorce from Brian Austin Green, with whom she shares three children, is finalised, the actress and Kelly “intend to get engaged and married.”
Fox and Kelly, who is also an actor and whose real name is Colson Baker, began their romance after meeting on the set of the crime thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass in March 2020. Two months later, Fox starred in Kelly’s music video “My Bloody Valentine.”
Love is what matters
While Megan has yet to wear any new engagement jewelry, Kelly began wearing a pendant with a vial containing a drop of his girlfriend’s blood in February to symbolise his dedication to his real-life “Bloody Valentine.” In May, Kelly said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that Fox had given him the pendant, adding, “She was going out of town to film a movie, and this was new in our relationship. I didn’t have a passport either. So she was going out to Bulgaria and so, I was kind of freaking out like, ‘Oh, you’re gonna leave and I can’t even come to see you or whatever’. I mean, some people give a handkerchief to their partner or whatever,” he continued, “She gave me her DNA”.
Kelly had a feeling for Fox for a long time. Kelly recounted putting a poster of the Transformers actress on his bedroom wall as a youngster in an interview with GQ magazine published in July. Therefore, one of his friends recalled how the rapper once declared he would marry the star. “So that’s some full-circle s—t,” Kelly told the outlet.
