Marvel’s Eternals gets a post-Diwali release date in India

The 26th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), much-awaited epic action-adventure Eternals that is already creating a rage across the world, has finally got its release date in India. The American superhero film scheduled to release across the United States on November 5 makes for a post-Diwali release in India. The movie will be released in India in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam and English.

Eternals is a typical American superhero film, based on the Marvel Comics race of the same name. It is directed by Academy Award winner Chloé Zhao, who also co-wrote the screenplay. The film is huge in the Marvel universe and for the fans alike. It has a star studded cast that includes Gemma Chan, Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani and Lia McHugh. Other stars include Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry that Keoghan, Don Lee, Harish Patel, Kit Harington, besides Salma Hayek.

Story of the film revolves around the Eternals – an immortal alien race – that emerges from hiding after thousands of years to protect the planet Earth from their evil counterparts, the Deviants.

While sharing information on the Twitter handle, Marvel mentioned, “Lighting up the Big screens this Diwali! Eternals will arrive on November 5 in Cinemas! In English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam…,” read the tweet that was posted along with a poster of Eternals.

 

The trailer of Eternals was launched earlier this month and gives fans an insight into the purpose of Eternals and their subsequent miss from the war of Thanos since the Avengers: Endgame. However, eager fans can’t wait to see the origin and the actions of this bunch of Marvel superheroes. Especially when the story has Angelina Jolie, essaying the role of the fierce warrior Thena and Salma Hayek portraying the role of a wise and spiritual leader named, Ajak.
