Massive Fire Breaks Out At Factory In Ghaziabad’s Industrial Area
Eight fire tenders rushed to the spot when the accident took place in Sahibabad area of Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad with no casualties or injuries so far.
A huge fire broke out at a Ghaziabad packaging plant in the early hours of Thursday (July 2). The cause of the fire is being said to be the cardboard boxes kept in the factory. Good news is that there have been no reports of any injuries or casualties from the incident. The factory in question falls into site no. 4 of the Sahibabad industrial area. Eight fire tenders had to rush to the spot to try and bring the fire under control. It was only a few days ago that another massive fire had taken place in Ghaziabad, at a chemical factory in the city and had taken 10 fire trucks to bring it under control.
Officials suspected that the cause of this fire was a short circuit that took place somewhere around 1.45 p.m. The fire was brought under control in two hours. This chemical factory reportedly had storage of about 200 containers, filled with 200 litres of chemical each, many of which caught fire. Around 50 to 100 residents from nearby areas were shifted to a safe distance and no casualties or injuries were reported from the incident.
