Man Who Threatened To Kill PM Modi Arrested In Noida
The man had called 100 and threatened to murder the Indian Prime Minister.
A man was arrested in Noida after he allegedly threatened to murder Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Named Harbhajan, the youth had apparently called the number 100 and said that he’d shoot PM Modi within an hour. The Noida Police, which made the arrest in Phase 3, Mamura, said that the man was angry because he had lost his job. The police have also said that the accused was under the influence of drugs during the time of this arrest.
Ankur Agrawal, Additional Director General of Police, said, “The man who has been arrested from Phase 3 is named Harbhajan. He had called 100 and given a threat to the Prime Minister. The Phase 3 team immediately investigated the matter and managed to arrest him. He is now being questioned. At first glance, the accused looks like a drug addict. This possibility is being probed with medical tests. Further proceedings will be cleared soon.”
