Madhavi Gogate breathed her last on November 21. Her Anupamaa co-star Rupali Ganguly has opened up upon the sudden death of her on-screen mother. See what the actress has to say

Madhavi Gogate, a popular Marathi film and television actress passed away on 21 November 2021. The news of her sad demise was confirmed by her Anupamaa co-star Alpana Buch. She had been ill past few weeks, and according to reports, she had also tested positive for COVID-19. Rupali Ganguly the late actor’s Anupamaa co-star talks about the veteran actress.

Rupali Ganguly talked to a leading news portal about the late actress, she said that she may not have shot with Madhavi every day for Anupamaa, but whatever little time she has spent with her was good. Rupali said that she can’t say that they were constantly calling up each but they did keep in touch. She said that they also kept checking on each other and Rupali used to call Madhavi and ask how was doing. She recalled that earlier when she had COVID, she used to check on me via calls. Rupali received a lot of love from the late actor and they used to sit and talk a lot about many things.

Adding more to it, Rupali said that Madhavi had a vast plethora of work behind her, so she used to tell her a lot about her previous shows. She has no words to explain how she feels because it’s a huge shock for her. Rupali knows she was ailing but the news of her demise is very upsetting for her.

Rupali Ganguly went on to add that she got to know that she was in the ICU. She feels guilty that she didn’t meet her. Rupali wished that she would have met Madhavi one last time. But amid routine, everyone just gets so lost and doesn’t realise what our soul actually wants said Rupali. There were a lot of plans they had made earlier, and they even used to talk about meeting at late actresses’ place. Rupali Ganguly said that she had some good working memories with Madhavi Gogate and good times spent together. She will miss the late actor, concluded Rupali.
