Covid-19 has shocked the world with the amount of devastation it caused with the second wave. Not just the poor and middle-class, but even the celebrities and elites are getting infected with the virus. Unfortunately, many celebs and sportsmen have tested positive for the deadly coronavirus lately. Recently, it has been reported that the legendary Indian sprinter, Milkha Singh, has tested positive for Covid-19.

Milkha Singh who is 91-years-old currently has tested positive and is in home isolation at his Chandigarh residence. According to reports, Milkha Singh is asymptomatic. His son, ace golfer Jeev Milkha Singh, who is in Dubai currently, has said he will be returning to the country this week itself.

Meanwhile, commenting on his ailing father’s health, Jeev Milkha Singh shared a video on Twitter while writing, “Just wanted to thank everyone for the outpouring of good wishes that have poured in for my dad. He is in great spirits and receiving wonderful care and I am sure he will be the Flying Sikh he has always been very soon. Jai Hind.”

Milkha Singh, also known as the Flying Sikh, is a five-time Asian Games gold medalist. He was also awarded the Padma Shri which is India’s fourth-highest civilian honour, in recognition of his sporting achievements.
