Mahira (Swati Kapoor) is in the guise of Preeta. After she spoke rudely to Ranu Aunty, she looks for Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) to complain about her rude behaviour. She says that except her name, nothing else is special about her.

However, Karan says that Preeta is liked by everyone in the house. Mahira gets envious when she hears him take Preeta’s side. The other relatives surround her and ask her to take off her ghunghat which worries Mahira.

Even Karan tries to take off her veil, but Bani Luthra, Karan’s grandmother (Neelam Mehra) intervenes. She says that the reception is followed by the muh dikhai ceremony before which she cannot show her face to anyone. This comes as a relief to Mahira.

Sherlyn (Ruhi Chaturvedi) calls up Prithvi but his mother picks up the phone. His mother loathes Sherlyn. When the latter asks her to give the phone to Prithvi, she simply refuses. Sherlyn still harbours feelings for Prithvi and wants to ensure that he is fine. She also dislikes the fact that Prithvi has madly fallen in love for Preeta.

Pawan calls his goons at Prithvi’s place. He tries to figure out what Prithvi sees in her. He concludes that his brother must have seen something special in Preeta. This goes to show how Pawan can do anything for his brother’s happiness.
