Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Clocks 23: Director Karan Johar Thanks Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji And Kajol After Achieving The Milestone

Today is a special day for the trio, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Kajol as their most iconic film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai turns 23 today. On the same day, 23 years ago, the romantic film got a theatrical release and it created history in Indian cinemas. The film took the viewers on a rollercoaster of love, friendship, heartbreak, and whatnot. As the film clocks 23 today, the filmmaker Karan took to his social media account to share a special note as the film hits a milestone.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was the directorial debut for Karan and it starred Shah Rukh, Kajol, and Rani in the lead. The film also had Salman Khan, Anupam Kher, and Archana Puran Singh in pivotal roles. Karan Johar took to his Instagram account and shared a video montage featuring SRK, Kajol, and Rani scenes from the film. While sharing the video, Karan Johar wrote, “23 years of pyaar, dosti and a bunch of memories! This was my first time behind the camera and it ignited an unparalleled love for the cinema in me that continues to drive me till today. Gratitude to the best cast, crew & the audience who continues to pour in the love for this story 23 years on! Thank you.”

As soon as Karan Johar dropped the post fans started to pour their love for one of the most loved iconic romantic movies. Not only the fans but also the Bollywood actors dropped comments in Karan’s post. Fashion designer Manish Malhotra, Rakul Preet Singh, Sanjay Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Sophie Choudry, Mouni Roy, Sania Mirza, and Dia Mirza showered Karan’s post with love as he celebrated the milestone of his debut film.
