When it comes to fashion, we all expect Kendall Jenner to walk down the runway and surprise us in unexpected ways. On Friday, the 25-year-old supermodel astonished the Internet with her first appearance of the spring/summer 2022 season, walking the runway in a collection of refined pieces by designer Michael Kors.
Jenner made her New York Fashion Week debut, opening the show in a bra and pencil skirt to a cover of Nina Simone’s My Baby Just Cares For Me. The supermodel wore a black bustier and a high-waisted black pencil skirt with a slim leather belt as she walked down the runway. She accessorised her ensemble with basic black heels and a bucket purse brimming with red roses. Everyone was taken aback by the brilliant red lipstick and delicate lashes. Later, she walked the red carpet in a glistening black cutout gown that is sure to become a red carpet favourite among Hollywood’s Actresses.
The 25-year old model was seen out last night wearing a black outfit and a matching black face mask. While this is the first time the reality star has been seen in New York City this season, she was recently in Italy with Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker.
Apart from Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Irina Shayk were the ones that helped bring Kors’ urban romance-themed collection to life at Tavern On The Green in Central Park.
Daytime looks including spring dresses and skirts, as well as short sets, were highlighted, as well as more formal evening clothing composed of leather and sparkles. Kate Hudson, Jane Krakowski, Lori Harvey, Hailee Steinfeld, Lucy Hale, and Victoria’s Secret models Sara Sampaio, Shanina Shaik, and Elsa Hosk were among the guests at the event. Guests wore everything from gold and zebra prints to leather styles and even slip dresses with Michael Kors accessories.
