There’s no time when the members of the Pataudi family aren’t in news. Be it for basic OOTD, fashion statements, upcoming projects, witty interviews, spreading humour or adventures with Taimur aka Tim the members are always all over the internet. Kareena Kapoor Khan gave birth to their second son Jehangir on February 21 2021 and the name was unveiled recently. However it is, the name certainly didn’t go well with a certain section of the society and were back at it to the couple for naming their children after rulers in the books of history.

Kareena Kapoor addressing the same in an interview with The Guardian, has quoted saying, “Honestly, these are names that we just liked; it’s nothing else. They are beautiful names and they’re beautiful boys. It’s unfathomable why somebody would troll children. I feel terrible about it, but I have to just focus and get through it. I can’t be looking at my life through the trolls.” Jehangir was popularly called Jeh for the longest time. When Kareena Kapoor launched her book recently is when her second son’s full name came out as ‘Jehangir’

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan enjoy a ginormous fan following and the answers that have emerged around the controversy of the names of their children are witty and to the point. One common thing in the answers is the fact that the trolls will never be able to control the minds of the parents as they’re focus is always on the good.
