The BMC officials demolished alleged illegal alterations at Kangana’s Manikarnika Films office in Mumbai’s posh Pali Hill area.

The ongoing face-off between Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut and Maharashtra Government continued on Wednesday (September 9) with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials demolishing alleged illegal alterations at Ranaut’s Manikarnika Films office in Mumbai‘s posh Pali Hill area. Responding to BMC’s move, Ranaut compared her office to Ram Temple and said that Babur is demolishing it. Amid the ongoing tussle between Ranaut and Shiv Sena, the BMC had begun the process of demolishing ‘illegal construction’ at her Mumbai office.

Comparing her office to the Ram Mandir, Ranaut said ‘Babur and his army’ are destroying it, as she shared photos from outside her office on Wednesday. She also repeated her controversial statement and likened Mumbai to PoK again. Ranaut’s lawyer filed a plea in the Bombay High Court against the demolition drive that is underway. On Tuesday (September 8), the BMC served a notice under Section 354(A) of Mumbai Municipal Corporation (MMC) Act to stop the ongoing work inside the premises and produce permissions for illegal constructions at the office of Manikarnika Productions.
