While awaiting its first trailer, here are 5 reasons that will make Kaagaz a worthy watch

Pankaj Tripathi

Pankaj Tripathi has mastered every role he has ever played. Whether it is a negative role or a positive one, he flawlessly steps into his character’s shoes and weaves magic with his acting proficiency. Playing the role of a farmer from a small village in this upcoming movie, we already know he is going to make it endearing.

A Great Star Cast

Besides Pankaj Tripathi, other cast members include Monal Gajjar and Amar Upadhyay. Monal Gajjar has acted in Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi films, and has given a splendid performance in all of them.

Amar Upadhyay is known for his exceptional performances in both the TV and film industry. It would be great to see him shine on the small screen after such a long time.

Compelling Plot

Lal Bihari ‘Mritak’, a farmer from a small village in Uttar Pradesh is the inspiration behind the film. The film revolves around his struggles and his fight against bureaucracy for 19 long years. It will be a significant experience for the audience to watch his story unfold on the screen.

Direction By Satish Kaushik

Satish Kaushik has been directing films in Bollywood since 1993. He is an alumnus of both, FTII and NSD, which itself tells us how knowledgable he is. He has directed critically acclaimed movies, like Tere Naam and Tere Sang. A movie about a farmer’s struggle, being made by a director like him, is a great combination.

 A non-glamorous Backdrop

From the poster, it seems that the movie will stay true to its plot and the setting. Unlike other Bollywood films, it will not include any unnecessary glamour and will show integrity to the story. Being set in a small village in Uttar Pradesh, the film will have the perfect setting it needs.
